FastTimer ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the FastTimer mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). The short version: FastTimer stores your health data locally on your device by default. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. Your fasting journey is private.

3 Data Storage & Security

3.1 Local Storage

By default, all fasting logs, sleep data, streaks, and personal health entries are stored locally on your device. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

3.2 Cloud Storage (If Enabled)

If you choose to enable account sync or cloud backup, your data is transmitted to and stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption — TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest — to protect your data.

3.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Deleting your data: You can delete all locally stored fasting and health data at any time from within the app via Settings → Data → Delete All Data. If you have a cloud account, deleting your account will permanently remove all associated data from our servers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymised, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

9 International Data Transfers

FastTimer is operated from Australia. If you are located outside Australia, your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
